About Us

Formed in 1996, J+J Automation UK Ltd are a specialist supplier of valve actuators and actuated valve packages, offering both electric and pneumatic actuation solutions primarily for 1/4 turn rotary applications typically covering ball valves, plug valves, butterfly valves and dampers.

Operating to an independently assessed and approved IS09001 – 2000 quality assurance system, J+J either supply actuators only for fitting by their clients, supply mount & test their actuators to valves free issued by clients, or supply a complete valve and actuator package- assembled and bench function tested.

With careful attention to product selection, all valves supplied are CE marked in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive where required, deliveries are prompt as the valves and actuators are IS05211 compliant which generally permits direct mounting of the actuators.

In cases where a mounting kit is needed to connect valve and actuator, most kits are machined and manufactured in-house using stainless steel components, reducing lead time compared to sourcing these parts from specialist mounting kit sub-contractors.

Where practical, all valve packages are built and tested in-house thereby retaining control of lead times and most importantly, quality.

Technical expertise comes from decades of experience both in the practical environment of marine engineering and technical representation for national distributors in the valve industry.
