On / Off Electric Actuator:

Type: J2-L140

Function: Power to open, power to close, stays put on mains power failure.

Failsafe Electric Actuator:

Type: J2-L140-BSR

(BSR = Battery 'Spring Return')

Function: Power open, power close. In the event of power failure, it will fail to a pre-set safe position using battery power.

Modulating Electric Actuator:

Type: J2-L140-DPS

(DPS = Digital Positioning System)

Function: Power applied continuously, movement controlled by either a 4-20mA or 0-10VDC input signal. Closes on loss of control signal, stays put on loss of mains power.

DPS upgraded in early 2005 with DPS:2005 version. Main change was the introduction of self calibrating & auto-adjusting features. Above data is for the DPS2005.
